Professor Bruno S. Sergi teaches at Harvard University’s Extension School on the economics of emerging markets and is Affiliated Faculty of Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He is the Associate Editor of The American Economist and his longstanding research interests center on the economics of emerging markets. He teaches international economics at the University of Messina and is the scientific director of the International Center for Emerging Markets Research at RUDN University - Moscow.

Since 2009 he has coached two networks of trade-union economic experts: the SEE TUs Economic Experts’ Network and the NIS TUs Economic Experts’ Network, both of which are under the framework of the Pan-European Regional Council of the International Trade Union Confederation.

He is Editor-in-Chief of the following journals: International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies; International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance; International Journal of Trade and Global Markets.
